Art
happens when the vision of the creator evokes a response in the observer.
Media only becomes relevant when it interferes with this process.
Although some
of the art displayed on the following pages was created using pens and
ink and paper and paint, most of it began its life displayed as pixels
upon a computer screen. Since the goal is to reach out through your eyes
and touch you inside, does it matter whether you are looking at paper,
canvas, rock or screen?
I hope the art
here touches you!
Asha
has worked with cloth, jewelry, watercolor, pen and ink, chalk and oils.
When she discovered the Commodore Amiga in 1986 and began painting with
light, a whole new world opened up. Here are some of her more recent works
(as well as a few old favorites) to enjoy.
Because
of the large number of pieces now available, this site has been separated
into two categories: botanicals and non-botanicals. To see the entire
collection, use the appropriate links at the top of the page.
